Welcome
Chemogiftbags charity is for ladies and gents undergoing chemotherapy for Breast Cancer and are based in Reading, Berkshire. We operate in the whole of the Thames Valley.

Introducing our new patron
We are delighted to welcome Kerry Godliman as our new patron. Kerry told us, on accepting the role, "I’m very happy to be asked to be patron for this wonderful charity. The value and comfort the chemogiftbags provide for the men and women receiving chemotherapy is such a simple and kind gesture. They offer a reminder that friendship and comfort are what’s needed to support people through their treatment and time of need".

Nominate someone
If you would like to nominate someone to receive a Chemogiftbag, please email or contact us on Facebook. We then contact the Ambassador for that area and then they in turn will make contact with the nominee and arrange to meet at the hospital on their next appointment.
All of our items are donated by members of the public or local businesses.
What's in a Chemogiftbag?
At such a difficult time, we hope to bring some comfort to those undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer by offering Chemogiftbags. Each bag has been prepared by people who care and includes useful items such as…
How you can
Get involved
- Perhaps you can knit, crotchet, you're a quilter or can sew fleece blankets? These are the staple requirement for our Chemogiftbags and are always required no matter what time of the year it is.
- You could make our heart shaped cushions, which are always requested.
- You may be a crafter and could make items suitable to go into a bag that you'd like to donate.
- You may be a jeweller and would like to donate a small token of jewellery.
- Perhaps you are a marathon runner or a cyclist and would like to run/cycle and ask for sponsors for Chemogiftbags through Wonderful.org

Every bit of help is appreciated
How you can donate
You might be a corporate company reading this and would like to sponsor us? – please contact Chemogiftbags by email. Donate by doing a dress down day at work, or by holding a Coffee & Cup Cake event. Perhaps your forte is marketing or asking for donations. You might like to help pack the bags, or be an Ambassador for an area in which we do not have a representative? There are so many ways you can help. Finally, we would be happy to receive any suggestions you have; if we think they could work, we will implement them.

Although the forecast for the last Saturday in September looked bleak, we turned up with fingers crossed that the weather would be kind to us. In contrast to the wet conditions we expected to face we were pleasantly surprised to meet bright sunshine, albeit a bit windy.
Today was the first attempt at our Charity Cricket Fundraiser, our chosen venue was Windsor Cricket Club with a wonderful view of the Queen’s favourite residence.
